Now that Disney comics are
back in print in the US, I hope they will stay so, and wish the
Gemstone team a very long run!
With always more work and constraints, updating the site is always
getting more difficult, but I still have several projects: thanks
for checking once in a while for new features!

Disney comics-wise, 2003 promises
to be a good year since, as you may know, Gemstone comics will
resume the publication of Disney comics, with the same talented
staff that produced Gladstone's comics & albums.
On a smaller scale, remember to watch this space in the next few
weeks for the launch of a whole new feature!

I am a bit late this year
and am sorry I don't have anything new for Christmas-- or have
I?
As I have already assured you, even though I have much less free
time to devote to M&D than I used to at the beginning, I am
definitely not abandoning the site. Several existing sections
need completing (indexes, L&T atlas, Who's Who, ...), and
I have ideas (and material) for new sections. And one of them
is about to be launched. Keep watching this space, as an announcement
will be made in January.
Till then, I thank you again for visiting the site, and wish you
a very merry Christmas!

have been no updates. Thank you very much for visiting the site.
It is definitely not down, and I truly have several new features
in the making, but just no time to finish & upload them. I
will do my best to do so in the next two months.

Breakdown
(Oct 2000 - Feb 2001)
Sorry, I have been unable to reach the
site to update it ever since the xoom / nbci merge. Quite ironically,
I soon found out everyone could still access M&D-- but me!
Also, due to other problems I had to deal with, I could not
investigate it.
It turns out the server of the University
I'm teaching at filters certain DNS addresses out for security
reasons (it is a major research center)-- and nbci's is one
of these addresses for some reason I wasn't told.
After considering a move, I have finally
upgraded my connexion and chose another provider, so M&D's
finally back online!
Thank you very much for your interest
and your patience; I was glad to receive statistics which showed
a steady flow, and even gladder to receive e-mail-- (do write:
criticism welcome!).
M&D will be updated very soon now!
(And, should you wonder: yes, the image
at right is by me-- a rule I bent, sorry: I intended to have
pictures by talented artists only, but well...)
